THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION HAS CALLED FOR LOCAL COLLABORATIONS TO ADVANCE HEALTH-RELATED SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT GOALS . A PROGRESS REPORT CONTAINING THIS INFORMATION WAS RECENTLY PUBLISHED BY AT LEAST 13 SIGNATORY AGENCIES OF THE GLOBAL ACTION PLAN FOR HEALTHY LIVES AND WELL-BEING FOR ALL SDG3 GAPS. THE REPORT WHICH WAS TITLED “WHAT WORKED?” WHAT DIDN’T ? ‘WHAT NEXT?’ REFLECTED FOUR YEARS OF COLLABORATION BY MAJOR MULTILATERAL AGENCIES IN STRENGTHENING COLLABORATION AND SUPPORT TO ACCELERATE THE COUNTRY’S PROGRESS TOWARDS HEALTH-RELATED SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS. ACCORDING TO WHO, THIS YEAR MARKS THE HALFWAY POINT TOWARD THE SDGS, BUT THE WORLD IS LAGING IN REACHING GLOBAL GOALS.
