The World Bank Reported On Wednesday In Its Latest Food Security Update That Food Price Inflation Remains High Globally. Inflation Levels Are Greater Than Five Percent In 70.6 Percent Of Low-Income Countries And In 90.9 Percent Of Lower-Middle-Income Countries, According To Information From The Latest Month Between December 2022 And March 2023 For Which Food Price Inflation Data Are Available. It Also Stated That The Inflation Rate Is Above 5% In 87 Percent Of Upper-Middle-Income Countries, Some Of Which Are Experiencing Double-Digit Inflation,” And That 84.2 Percent Of High-Income Countries Were Experiencing High Food Price Inflation.
