Sokoto Governor Promises Increased Development in 2025

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has reiterated his administration’s resolve to fast-track infrastructural development and ensure an improvement in the living conditions of the people through increased development projects in 2025.

At the 11th regular meeting of the State Executive Council held in Sokoto on Wednesday, Aliyu mentioned how the government had fared within the year, declaring that several transformational projects were completed. He has also promised that the same momentum will be sustained throughout next year.

“This year, we have labored to deliver key projects. In sha Allah, even more are planned for 2025,” the governor said.

These, he attributed to the efforts of the executive council collectively and the people of Sokoto, who had stood by the government. He commended the council members for commitment and hailed residents for steadfastly supporting government initiatives.

“I thank the council members and the good people of Sokoto for their commitment. Your support has been instrumental in our achievements,” he said.

The governor also praised the council’s efforts in preparing and presenting the 2025 budget to the state legislature, calling it a major step in realizing the administration’s development goals.

“Our priority is to ensure that every project addresses the needs of our people. I am confident that 2025 will mark another year of remarkable progress,” Aliyu added.

The Sokoto State government declared its commitment to actualizing projects that would increase citizens’ quality of life and spur economic growth and therefore called for continued collaboration between it and the populace.
