The inter-agency committee on the debt owing to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria has delayed its investigation, according to chairman of the house of representatives committee on banking and currency (AMCON), Victor Nwokolo, .

This was stated by Nwokolo during the weekend in Lagos at the annual retreat of the House of Representatives Committee on Banking and Currency, which included AMCON management and other stakeholders.
Asset recovery as a vehicle for improved development and stability of the banking sectors maintaining the effect and bridging the obstacles of AMCON was the theme of the retreat.
Bolaji Owasanoye (SAN), who also serves as the head of the ICPC, is in charge of the interagency committee.
