The Nigerian railway corporation generated N5.79 billion as revenue from passengers and cargo between 2019 and the first quarter of 2021.
This is according to the national bureau of statistics’ most recent publication, rail transportation data q1 2019 – q1 2021.
According to the report, revenue from passengers was N5.05 billion during the review period, while revenue from goods/cargo was N670.42 million and income from other sources was N77.8 million.
