Nasarawa state, ABS Blueprint sign deal on Innovative Housing Project

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule announced the commencement of the technology village, an innovative housing project in Nasarawa state which will cost N30 billion.

The project is a joint venture between ABS Blueprint Consortium and Nasarawa State Government, located on 67 Hectares land in Aso Pada Karu LGA of Nasarawa State. According to the CEO of ABS Blueprint Consortium, Yamusa Sulaiman, the technology village will have a cumulative total of 2,300 housing units. The Technology Hub will provide funded training for up to 2,000 IT students each Year as software Engineers and create 15,000 direct jobs and over 60,000 indirect jobs.

Governor Abdullahi Sule also noted that the Technology Village was conceived in line with the idea behind the Silicon Valley in California, aimed at attracting major international Information Technology firms to the state. The project is scheduled to be commissioned in the next 12 months.
