A white paper committee has been established by the federal government to examine ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) established since 2014.
The committee was established on Friday in Abuja by Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF).
Additionally, he requested that the committee produce its findings within six weeks so that implementation could start after the Federal Executive Council had authorized it (FEC).
The federal government established two subcommittees in November 2021 to oversee the execution of the Stephen Oronsaye-led presidential committee’s recommendations. These committees are chaired by former federation chiefs of service Bukar Aji, Amal Pepple, and Oladapo Afolabi.
The execution of a whitepaper on the reform of ministries, departments, and agencies to lower the cost of governance was given to the two subcommittees.
