AS OF JULY 2023, NIGERIA HAD $8.25 BILLION IN UNDISBURSED WORLD BANK LOANS. THIS IS BASED ON INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE WORLD BANK’S WEBSITE’S SUMMARY STATEMENT OF LOANS/CREDIT/GRANTS. A FURTHER BREAKDOWN REVEALED THAT THE UNDISBURSED LOANS CONSISTED OF $7.45BN FROM THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION AND $1.12BN FROM THE INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT.
